Amigo Takso respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controller of personal data is Amigo Takso (taxi and transfer service in Tallinn and across Estonia).
Contact for data protection matters: info@amigotakso.ee, phone 524 7777.
2. What data we collect
The data we process depends on how you interact with us.

- Cargo enquiries: contact details, transport details and any attached photos.
- Driver application form (/tuletoole): name, phone, email, driving licence and taxi service card status, experience, vehicle details, preferred schedule and comments.

3. Purposes and legal basis
- Providing transport services and managing bookings — contract or pre-contractual steps.
- Verification of a candidate or partner: checking the validity and compliance of submitted documents and permits — preparation of a contract and legitimate interest in service safety.
- Preparation and administration of the cooperation: concluding the agreement, adding the driver and vehicle to the dispatch system, making payments based on the bank details — performance of a contract.
- Fulfilling legal and accounting obligations: invoices, tax reporting and taxi transport regulatory requirements — legal obligation.

- Driver application data: up to 12 months from the last contact if no cooperation begins.
- Partner registration data and documents: for the duration of the cooperation and up to 7 years afterwards where required for accounting and tax obligations. If cooperation does not begin, the data and documents are deleted within 12 months at the latest.
- Cargo enquiries and attached photos: up to 12 months.
5. Processors and service providers
We use trusted technical providers that process data only on our instructions:
- Web hosting and application infrastructure (operation of the website and forms).
- Database and file storage — uploaded documents and photos are stored in a private bucket that is not publicly accessible; access happens through time-limited signed links.
- Email delivery service (order and application notifications).
- Google Maps / Google Routes API (address search and route calculation in the calculator).
- Google Analytics and Google Ads (site statistics and advertising performance).
- Stripe (card payments for fixed-price bookings).

6. Sharing of data
We never sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared with third parties only to the extent needed to provide the service (for example, the assigned driver receives the pickup and destination address and a contact number) or where required by law.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), private file storage without public URLs, and access limited to staff who need it for their work.
8. Your rights
- The right to access the data we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate data corrected.
- The right to erasure where there is no legal basis for further retention.
- The right to restrict processing and to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- The right to data portability.
