Amigo Driver Privacy Policy

This notice applies to the Amigo Driver app for Android and iOS (ee.amigotakso.driver), used by approved Amigo Takso drivers. Amigo Takso is operated by Limu24 OÜ, Pärnamäe 63C, 11914 Tallinn, Estonia. The app is published by Broniq Technologies OÜ. For questions about driver data, contact info@amigotakso.ee.

Data we process

Driver identity and contact details, account identifiers, vehicle and work permissions, and documents supplied for onboarding; order and trip details (including passenger pickup and destination, contact details and instructions), trip events, fares, earnings, chat messages and notifications; device and push identifiers, app version and diagnostic events; and location coordinates and timestamps during enabled shift and trip tracking. Optional voice input may be processed by the device speech recognition service to enter addresses. The app requests microphone access only when voice input is used.

Background location

Amigo Driver collects location data to support dispatch, driver availability, pickup and active-trip tracking, including when the app is in the background or the screen is locked during a shift or trip. Dispatch staff use the current position to coordinate orders, and trip position may be shown to a passenger through an order tracking link. The app does not use driver location for advertising. Device settings let drivers revoke location access; doing so can limit dispatch and tracking functions.

Why and with whom

We use these data to authenticate approved drivers, assign and complete taxi or transfer work, communicate with dispatch and passengers, calculate and verify fares and settlements, support safety and resolve disputes. Processing is based on the driver relationship and service contract, applicable legal duties and legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. Relevant order details are available to the assigned driver and dispatch. Relevant live trip position may be available to the passenger with the tracking link. Hosting, database, push notification, mapping and speech recognition providers process data needed for their services. We do not sell driver data or use it for third-party advertising.

Storage and retention

Connections to the service use encryption in transit. Access to driver and trip records is restricted by role. Data are retained for the cooperation and only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Booking and trip records are ordinarily retained up to 12 months; accounting and settlement records may be kept for seven years where required by law. Raw location and technical records are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed for trip verification, disputes, security or legal duties. A deletion request is assessed against those duties; deleting an account does not automatically erase legally required trip and financial records.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability or deletion where applicable. You can withdraw device permissions in Android or iOS settings. To request deletion of driver account and associated data, follow the Amigo Driver data deletion instructions. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate at aki.ee.
